Summer is here and I am absolutely loving it because summers mean a lot of beaches, tank tops, sun and cute shoes. Summers are so colorful and vibrant and they always make me nostalgic of my summers spent at my grandma’s place when I was younger.

Orange is going to be huge this summer and here I share some inspiration for styling a mini orange fit & flare dress. I think orange and black make an awesome combination and complement each other really well.

Happy Wednesday! So I went on a brunch with my girl friends last Sunday, you know to celebrate Galentines Day (Valentines Day with my gals!). It was so much fun and absolutely rejuvenating. Sometimes all you need is a cup of coffee and your best friend to make things better. Anyways, I cannot seem to get Selena’s “same old love” out of my mind. I find myself humming it All The Time! Do you like that song as much as I do too?
Coming back to the outfit, I wanted something girly and pink but not too much. This dress with the off shoulder and the frilled look was just perfect and I have been loving the chunky heels trend this season. I have hoarded so many chunky heels already, it really needs to stop. I really hope you will like the outfit and the pictures.

It is my favorite time of the year in India; Diwali which literally means “festival of lights”. It is a 5 day long festival which signifies the return of Lord Rama to their native place Ayodhya after defeating Ravana. It is mostly about homecoming and brings back all sorts of nostalgic memories to me. And even though I am 9000 miles from where my heart is right now, how could I let go the chance to dress up in a colorful lehenga?

Happy Thursday! It is almost the end of October…seems so unreal. 2015 just started and we are already reaching the end of this year. Someone so rightly said “Days go by slow and the years go fast” and I cannot agree more.
I was in Chicago for 2 weeks and this is one of the photo shoots we did on The Navy Pier. Can I just say I was absolutely stunned by the beauty and the charm of this city. However when I tell this to my friends, they sarcastically tell me to “Visit Chicago in January”…probably because everyone close to me knows I just can’t take cold at all. I am a FL girl from heart and won’t be able to survive Chicago winter.
Coming back to the post, I am so in love with the oxblood color this season. I think it is one color that suits almost any skin tone and has a lot of power to it. I paired my dress with a leather jacket (another trend of FW 2015 that I am absolutely digging). To prevent the look from getting too masculine, I added a cute feather clutch). The entire outfit is from Justfab.

I love an all black outfit. Black is such a timeless color and makes you look slimmer and taller if wore right. For this outfit, I chose to style my leather skirt with a simple tee. A simple black tee is an absolute must have in any girl’s closet and I try to keep multiples of it for the simple reason that it is very versatile and can be easily dressed up or down.
This season I am absolutely digging the animal prints trend as well and hence I decided to style my all black outfit with leopard print sandals. I think animal prints give that confident “I got this” kinda vibe which is making this outfit even more fierce.

Hi Fashionistas, When it comes to styling shoes in summertime, most women tend to gravitate towards sandals, flats and open toed heels. But there is absolutely no reason to give up those sexy, sassy & fabulous boots that you own. I am no doubt a “boots” girl…I love them and feel a lot sexier when I am wearing a pair of nice, shapely, tall heeled boots. So I refuse to give up on them even when its hot outside and you shouldn’t too because if you take care of certain things boots can actually be more comfortable, breathable and even more appropriate than sandals. How was your weekend. We had a long weekend for 4th of July and it was great for me. I got to go to Pensacola beach with Mr Ro and we had a very relaxing weekend. I love beaches and I guess being a water sign (I am a Pisces), I am drawn to them…let’s just say I am absolutely addicted to them.

I am one of those fortunate people who get the opportunity to live and experience two very different cultures. I grew up in India and then moved to America for studies and later work.
