Happy Saturday! Any plans for the long weekend? I have been MIA for 2 weeks because I was at the Hangout beach music festival last weekend and oh my god,was it fun? Although by Monday, my calves were crying from all the walking in the sand…and I was tired as anything. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and I got to see Daya and The Weekend performing live so all the pain was totally worth it.
Well coming back to today’s post, I am collaborating with a very good friend and another fashionista whose style I absolutely adore, Sonia. She loves shoes as much as I do and has an absolutely stunning Instagram profile (@my_heel_obsession) where she shares her love for heels and also gives style tips. So do check her out on instagram and show her some love. All the styles featured in this post are from Justfab.
Happy Friday! I adore the black and gold combination…throw in some red and I go head over heels. This little black dress with gold chain detail on the back is absolutely beautiful. Probably the most found item in my closet will be an LBD…you know you can never go wrong with one.
Happy Friday! Playing with three big trends of this season in today’s outfit: Suede, Fringe and Gladiator sandals. Suede is making a big time comeback this season and I am loving it. Also, how sexy are these gladiator sandals with fringe.
Happy Friday! Ending the week with a casual lunch/ coffee date look. Skinny blue denims and red pumps make the perfect combination for a date when you do not want to dress up too much. Adding a leather jacket to the look. The entire outfit is from Justfab.
Happy Wednesday! So I went on a brunch with my girl friends last Sunday, you know to celebrate Galentines Day (Valentines Day with my gals!). It was so much fun and absolutely rejuvenating. Sometimes all you need is a cup of coffee and your best friend to make things better. Anyways, I cannot seem to get Selena’s “same old love” out of my mind. I find myself humming it All The Time! Do you like that song as much as I do too?
Coming back to the outfit, I wanted something girly and pink but not too much. This dress with the off shoulder and the frilled look was just perfect and I have been loving the chunky heels trend this season. I have hoarded so many chunky heels already, it really needs to stop. I really hope you will like the outfit and the pictures.
Happy Friday! After about a week of slightly (as compared to the north) chilly weather, it is starting to warm up again here in the south. I am a true FL girl and cannot take the cold at all. So to celebrate the little bit of crispiness that is left in the air, I decided to style a sweater dress. Now this dress can very well be worn as a tunic but as I am short, I wore it as a dress as I wanted to style my over the knee boots. I love that the over the knee boots are always in style in winters as they are my absolute favorite.
It is my favorite time of the year in India; Diwali which literally means “festival of lights”. It is a 5 day long festival which signifies the return of Lord Rama to their native place Ayodhya after defeating Ravana. It is mostly about homecoming and brings back all sorts of nostalgic memories to me. And even though I am 9000 miles from where my heart is right now, how could I let go the chance to dress up in a colorful lehenga?
I love an all black outfit. Black is such a timeless color and makes you look slimmer and taller if wore right. For this outfit, I chose to style my leather skirt with a simple tee. A simple black tee is an absolute must have in any girl’s closet and I try to keep multiples of it for the simple reason that it is very versatile and can be easily dressed up or down.
This season I am absolutely digging the animal prints trend as well and hence I decided to style my all black outfit with leopard print sandals. I think animal prints give that confident “I got this” kinda vibe which is making this outfit even more fierce.
